English Translation

Ishaq narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi al-Zinad narrated to us, from Muhammad from the family of 'Amr ibn 'Uthman, from Fatimah bint Husayn, she said: I heard Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from using silk brocade (al-dibaj) and drinking from gold and silver vessels. He said: 'They are for them in this world and for you in the Hereafter.'
