English Translation
Ishaq narrated to us, Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Simak ibn Harb, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wanted to set out on a journey, he would say: 'O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Guardian over the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of travel, the sorrow of return, an evil sight in family and wealth, and the supplication of the oppressed.'
