حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ أَنَّ النَّاسَ كَانُوا ي
َطُوفُونَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ جَالِسٌ مَعَهُ مِحْجَنٌ فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ { يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ } وَلَوْ أَنَّ قَطْرَةً مِنْ الزَّقُّومِ قُطِرَتْ لَأَمَرَّتْ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ عَيْشَهُمْ فَكَيْفَ مَنْ لَيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا الزَّقُّومُ

English Translation
Rawh narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard Sulayman, from Mujahid, that the people were performing Tawaf around the House while Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) was sitting with his walking stick. He said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Tawaf around the House is prayer, except that Allah has permitted speaking during it. So whoever speaks, let him speak only good.'
