English Translation
'Ali ibn 'Asim narrated to us, from al-Jurayri and 'Abdullah ibn 'Uthman ibn Khuthaym, from Abu al-Tufayl, both from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ramal (brisk walking) for three circuits around the House. When he reached the Yemeni corner, he would walk until he came to the (Black) Stone, then resume ramal. He walked (normally) for four circuits. He said: Ibn 'Abbas said: And that was a sunnah.
