Hadith #95
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ أَتَى خَالَتَهُ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ إِلَى سِقَايَةٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى قَالَ وَقُمْتُ فَتَوَضَّأْتُ ثُمَّ قُمْتُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ قَالَ فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي فَأَدَارَنِي مِنْ خَلْفِهِ حَتَّى أَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ

English Translation
Ishaq ibn Yusuf narrated to us, 'Abd al-Malik narrated to us, from 'Ata', from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما), who went to his maternal aunt Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ. He said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ got up at night and went to a water container. He performed wudu, then stood and prayed. He said: I got up and performed wudu, then stood on his left side. He took my hand and moved me from behind him until he placed me on his right side.
