Khadijah Becomes the First Believer

After the first revelation, the Prophet returned to Khadijah trembling and she comforted him with her famous words: 'By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you. You maintain ties of kinship, bear the burden of the weak, help the destitute, honor guests, and assist those afflicted by calamity.' She then took him to her cousin Waraqah ibn Nawfal, a Christian scholar, who confirmed this was the same angel sent to Musa. Khadijah was the first person to accept Islam.
