حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ عِيسَى ا

لْخياط ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، قَالَ : كَانَ عُمَرُ " يُقَاسِمُ بِالْجَدِّ مَعَ الْأَخِ وَالْأَخَوَيْنِ، فَإِذَا زَادُوا أَعْطَاهُ الثُّلُثَ، وَكَانَ يُعْطِيهِ مَعَ الْوَلَدِ السُّدُسَ

English Translation
It was narrated from al-Sha'bi that he said: 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to divide the grandfather's share equally with a brother or two brothers. If they were more than two, he gave the grandfather a third. And with descendants (children), he gave the grandfather a sixth.'
