حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ، وَعَلِيٍّ ، وَزَيْدٍ : أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا :" الْوَلَاءُ لِلْكُبْرِ "

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibrahim, from Umar, Ali, and Zayd (may Allah be pleased with them all), that they said: 'The right of walaa' belongs to the eldest (al-kubr).'
