Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ هُوَ ابْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ ، قَالَ :" إِذَا قَتَلَ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ عَمْدًا، لَمْ يُوَرَّثْ
مِنْ مِيرَاثِهِ، وَلَا مِنْ دِيَتِهِ، فَإِذَا قَتَلَهُ خَطَأً، وُرِّثَ مِنْ مِيرَاثِهِ، وَلَمْ يُوَرَّثْ مِنْ دِيَتِهِ. قَالَ : وَكَانَ عَطَاءٌ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ

English Translation
It was narrated from al-Hakam that he said: 'If a man kills his brother intentionally, he does not inherit from his estate or his blood money. But if he kills him accidentally, he inherits from his estate but not from his blood money.' And 'Ata' (may Allah have mercy on him) used to say...
