English Translation
It was narrated from Ibrahim that he said: Shurayh would never retract a ruling he had given, until al-Aswad told him that 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "If a slave marries a free woman and she bears him free children, then he is subsequently freed, the walaa' reverts to his masters." Shurayh then adopted this ruling.
