حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي خُصَيْفٌ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ و
َعَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّمَا نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الثَّوْبِ الْحَرِيرِ الْمُصْمَتِ فَأَمَّا الثَّوْبُ الَّذِي سَدَاهُ حَرِيرٌ لَيْسَ بِحَرِيرٍ مُصْمَتٍ فَلَا نَرَى بِهِ بَأْسًا وَإِنَّمَا نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُشْرَبَ فِي إِنَاءِ الْفِضَّةِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, Khusayf informed me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr and from 'Ikrimah the freed slave of Ibn 'Abbas, from Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما who said: the Prophet ﷺ only forbade garments dyed purely with safflower. As for garments that have weft or warp of safflower mixed with other threads, there is no harm in that.
