English Translation

Husayn ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, Abu Kudaynah narrated to us, from 'Ata, from Abu al-Duha, from Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up one morning and there was no water in the camp. A man came to him and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, there is no water in the camp.' He said: 'Do you have any water?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Bring it to me.' He brought a vessel of water to him. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his fingers over the mouth of the vessel and spread his fingers, and water began springing forth from between his fingers. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Call out to the people: The water, the water!' So the people came and took water until they were satisfied.
