حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ أُمَّ حُفَيْدٍ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ بْ
نِ حَزْنٍ خَالَةَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَهْدَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمْنًا وَأَقِطًا وَأَضُبًّا قَالَ فَدَعَا بِهِنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأُكِلْنَ عَلَى مَائِدَتِهِ وَتَرَكَهُنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَالْمُتَقَذِّرِ فَلَوْ كُنَّ حَرَامًا مَا أُكِلْنَ عَلَى مَائِدَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا أَمَرَ بِأَكْلِهِنَّ

English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, Abu Bishr narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما that Umm Hufayd bint al-Harith ibn Hazn, the maternal aunt of Ibn 'Abbas, gifted to the Prophet ﷺ ghee (samn), dried cottage cheese (aqit), and lizard meat (dabb). the Prophet ﷺ ate from the ghee and the cottage cheese and left the lizard meat, finding it distasteful. It was eaten on the table of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Had it been forbidden, it would not have been eaten on his table.
