English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Ata' — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led the people in the Eid al-Fitr prayer — two rak'ahs without adhan — then gave the khutbah after the prayer. He then took Bilal's (رضي الله عنه) hand and went to the women to give them a sermon. When he turned back from them, he instructed Bilal to return to them and command them to give in charity.
