حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ أ

َخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَصَامَ حَتَّى بَلَغَ الْكَدِيدَ فَأَفْطَرَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Utbah — from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he set out in the year of the Conquest during the month of Ramadan, fasting until he reached al-Kadid, then he broke his fast.
