حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مُخَوَّلِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْبَطِينِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ

عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْفَجْرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ بِالم تَنْزِيلُ السَّجْدَةَ وَهَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَفِي الْجُمُعَةِ بِالْجُمُعَةِ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Sa'id ibn Jubayr — that the Prophet ﷺ used to recite in the Fajr prayer on Friday: 'Alif Lam Mim — The Revelation [Surah 32]' and 'Has there not come upon man [Surah 76].' ['Abd al-Rahman added in his narration: and in the Jumu'ah prayer, [he recited] al-Jumu'ah [62] and al-Munafiqun [63].]
