English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Sa'id ibn Jubayr — that he said: 'I spent the night at my maternal aunt Maymunah. the Prophet ﷺ rose in the night and performed wudu.' He said: 'I got up and performed wudu. He then stood and prayed, and I stood behind him — or to his left. He moved me around until he placed me to his right.'
