حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ أَنَّ عُمَرَ سَأَلَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ { إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ } قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ نُعِيَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَفْسُهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu Razin — that 'Umar asked Ibn 'Abbas about the verse: 'When the victory of Allah comes and the opening [110:1].' He said: 'When it was revealed, the death of the Prophet ﷺ was announced to him.'
