English Translation
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, he said: al-Faraj ibn Fadalah narrated to us, from Abu Hiram, from Sadaqah al-Dimashqi, who said: A man came to Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) asking about fasting. He said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to fast until we would say he will not break his fast, and he would not fast until we would say he will not fast. And he never fasted a complete month other than Ramadan.
