حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ أَرَا
دَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ مِنْ سِقَاءٍ فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّهُ مَيْتَةٌ فَقَالَ دِبَاغُهُ يُذْهِبُ خَبَثَهُ أَوْ رِجْسَهُ أَوْ نَجَسَهُ

English Translation
Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Mis'ar narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Murrah, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from his brother, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Prophet ﷺ wanted to perform wudu' from a container. Its owner said: 'O Messenger of Allah, it is impure (najis).' the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Nothing makes water impure.' — Or as he ﷺ said.
