English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Hushaym, from Abi al-Zubayr, from Nafi' ibn Jubayr, from Abi 'Ubayda ibn 'Abdullah, from his father [Ibn Mas'ud] — that the polytheists distracted the Prophet ﷺ on the Day of the Trench [al-Khandaq] from four prayers until much of the night had passed. He commanded Bilal to give the adhan, then he gave the iqama and they prayed Dhuhr, then he gave the iqama and they prayed 'Asr, then he gave the iqama and they prayed Maghrib, then he gave the iqama and they prayed 'Isha'.
