حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى ال
نَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ فُلَانًا نَامَ الْبَارِحَةَ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَلِكَ الشَّيْطَانُ بَالَ فِي أُذُنِهِ أَوْ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd al-Samad, from Mansur, from Abi Wa'il — that a man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'So-and-so slept through his prayer last night.' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'That is the shaitan who urinated in his ear — or: ears.'
