English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan, from Jami', from Abi Wa'il — from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: 'Whoever swears an oath by which he unlawfully seizes the wealth of a Muslim will meet Allah while He is angry with him.' And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited to us its confirmation from the Book of Allah (عز وجل): Indeed, those who sell the covenant of Allah and their oaths for a small price — they will have no share in the Hereafter, and Allah will not speak to them...
