English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Abu Mu'awiya, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad and 'Alqama — that 'Abdullah said: 'When one of you bows [ruku'], let him lay his forearms on his thighs and lean forward' — then he placed his palms together — 'as if I can see the interlacing of the fingers of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.' He said: 'Then he placed his two palms together and showed them.'
