Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ
زِرٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَعَلَّكُمْ سَتُدْرِكُونَ أَقْوَامًا يُصَلُّونَ صَلَاةً لِغَيْرِ وَقْتِهَا فَإِذَا أَدْرَكْتُمُوهُمْ فَصَلُّوا فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ فِي الْوَقْتِ الَّذِي تَعْرِفُونَ ثُمَّ صَلُّوا مَعَهُمْ وَاجْعَلُوهَا سُبْحَةً

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Abu Bakr, from 'Asim, from Zirr — that 'Abdullah said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: You will likely encounter peoples who pray the prayer outside its [prescribed] time. When you find them, pray in your homes at the time you know [to be correct], then pray with them and make it [the second prayer] a supererogatory act [subha].'
