حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْ
نِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُقْتَلُ نَفْسٌ ظُلْمًا إِلَّا كَانَ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ الْأَوَّلِ كِفْلٌ مِنْ دَمِهَا لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ سَنَّ الْقَتْلَ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Abu Mu'awiya, from al-A'mash, from 'Abdullah ibn Murra, from Masruq — that 'Abdullah said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: No soul is killed unjustly except that the first son of Adam [Cain/Qabil] bears a share of its blood — for he was the first to institute [the practice of] killing.'
