Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَن
ِي عَوْنٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ إِذَا حُدِّثْتُمْ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدِيثًا فَظُنُّوا بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَهْيَاهُ وَأَهْدَاهُ وَأَتْقَاهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Ibn 'Ajlan, from 'Awn — that 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said: 'When a hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is narrated to you, think of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as the most cautious, the most guided, and the most God-fearing [of people in such matters].'
