Hadith #239

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرّ
َةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أُوتِيَ نَبِيُّكُمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَفَاتِيحَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ غَيْرَ خَمْسٍ { إِنَّ اللَّهَ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَيُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الْأَرْحَامِ وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ مَاذَا تَكْسِبُ غَدًا وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ بِأَيِّ أَرْضٍ تَمُوتُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ }
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Yahya, from Shu'ba, from 'Amr ibn Murra, from 'Abdullah ibn Salama — that 'Abdullah said: 'Your Prophet (ﷺ) was given the keys to everything — except five: Indeed, with Allah is knowledge of the Hour; and He sends down the rain; and He knows what is in the wombs. And no soul knows what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Aware [31:34].'
