English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Yahya, from Zuhayr, from Abu Ishaq, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Aswad, from al-Aswad and 'Alqama — that 'Abdullah said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say the takbir at every lowering and raising, and at every standing and sitting, and he gave the salam to his right and to his left until the whiteness of his cheeks — or cheek — could be seen. And I saw Abu Bakr and 'Umar doing the same.'
