English Translation
Abu Ahmad narrated to us, 'Isa ibn Dinar narrated to us, from his father, from 'Amr ibn al-Harith ibn Abi Dirar al-Khuza'i who said: I heard 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud رضي الله عنه saying: 'I never fasted with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ twenty-nine days more than I fasted thirty days' — meaning the Prophet ﷺ more frequently observed months of twenty-nine days than thirty days.
