حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ ال
ْأَقْمَرِ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا وَمَا تُقَامُ الصَّلَاةُ حَتَّى تَكَامَلَ بِنَا الصُّفُوفُ فَمَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ غَدًا مُسْلِمًا فَلْيُحَافِظْ عَلَى هَؤُلَاءِ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْمَكْتُوبَاتِ حَيْثُ يُنَادَى بِهِنَّ فَإِنَّهُنَّ مِنْ سُنَنِ الْهُدَى وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدْ شَرَعَ لِنَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُنَنَ الْهُدَى

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Yahya ibn Adam, from Sharik, from 'Ali ibn al-Aqmar, from Abi al-Ahwas — that 'Abdullah said: 'I remember when the prayer was not established until the rows had been completed [by us]. So whoever would love to meet Allah (عز وجل) tomorrow as a Muslim should guard these prescribed prayers wherever the call to prayer is made — for they are among the sunan of guidance. Indeed Allah (عز وجل) has prescribed for your Prophet (ﷺ) the sunan of guidance.'
