Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنِيهِ بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ مُوَرِّقٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ الْجُشَمِيِّ عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُفَضِّلُ صَلَاةَ الْجَمِيعِ عَلَى صَلَاةِ الرَّجُلِ وَحْدَهُ بِخَمْسٍ وَعِشْرِينَ صَلَاةً كُلُّهَا مِثْلُ صَلَاتِهِ
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Bahz, from Hammam, from Qatada, from Muwarriq, from Abi al-Ahwas al-Jushami — that the Prophet ﷺ used to rate the prayer in congregation above the prayer of a man alone by twenty-five prayers — each one equal to his prayer [in reward].
