English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — via Waki', from Isra'il, from Abu Ishaq, from 'Amr ibn Maymun — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ narrated to us at Mina — while leaning his back against a red dome [tent] — saying: 'Would you not be pleased to be one-quarter of the people of Paradise?' We said: Yes. He said: 'Would you not be pleased to be one-third of the people of Paradise?' They said: Yes. He said: 'By Allah, I hope that you will be half of the people of Paradise. And I will tell you about that — because of the fewness of the Muslims among all people at that time. They will be among the people only like a white hair on a black bull, or a black hair on a white bull. And none will enter Paradise except a Muslim soul.''
