Hadith #196
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) [continuation of the above] — and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about monkeys and pigs: Are they from those who were transformed [by divine punishment], or something that existed before that? He said: 'No — rather they existed before that. Indeed Allah (عز وجل) has never destroyed a people [through transformation] and given them offspring or descendants.'
