Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَ
جَلَّ { لَقَدْ رَأَى مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِ الْكُبْرَى } قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ رَأَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَفْرَفًا أَخْضَرَ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ قَدْ سَدَّ الْأُفُقَ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from al-A'mash — regarding His (عز وجل) words: 'He certainly saw of the greatest signs of his Lord' [53:18] — that Ibn Mas'ud said: 'the Prophet ﷺ saw a green rafraf [silken cushion or hovering expanse] from Paradise that filled the entire horizon.' — He [al-A'mash] mentioned it via Ibrahim, from 'Alqama, from 'Abdullah.
