English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Ibrahim ibn Khalid, from Rabah, from Ma'mar, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu al-Ahwas — from the Prophet ﷺ — that he said: '[Some people] stay behind from the Friday prayer. I have considered commanding my young men to gather firewood, then commanding a man to lead the people in prayer, and burning the houses of those people who do not attend the Friday prayer.'
