English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — via Abu Dawud and 'Affan, from Hammam, from Qatada, from Muwarriq al-'Ijli, from Abu al-Ahwas — from the Prophet ﷺ — that he said: 'The congregational prayer exceeds the prayer of a man alone by twenty-five prayers, every one of them equal to his prayer [in reward].' ['Affan] says: I was informed that Abu al-'Awwam agreed with him. — [Second chain] via 'Abd al-Wahhab, from Sa'id, from Qatada, from Abu al-Ahwas, from Ibn Mas'ud — the Prophet ﷺ said the same.
