English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Affan and Hasan ibn Musa, from Hammad ibn Salama — Hasan says: from 'Ata'; 'Affan says: from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib — from 'Amr ibn Maymun — Hasan says: that Ibn Mas'ud narrated to them — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There will be a people in the Fire for as long as Allah wills. Then Allah will have mercy on them and bring them out of it. They will be in the lowest part of Paradise and will bathe in a river called al-Hayawan [the River of Life]. The people of Paradise will call them "the Jahannamiyyun [the Hellites]." If one of them were to host the people of the entire world, he would spread beds for them, feed them, give them drink, and cover them with blankets — and I think he also said: and marry them off — without any of that diminishing him in the least.' Hasan adds: '...without diminishing him in the least.'
