حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ

مَسْعُودٍ رَفَعَ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Affan, from Abu 'Awana, from 'Asim, from Zirr ibn Hubaysh — [who] traced the hadith back to the Prophet ﷺ — who said: 'Whoever lies about me deliberately, let him take his seat in Hell.'
