أبيه
أبي عبيدة بن عبد الله
English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Ya'qub, from his father, from his father, from Abu 'Ubayda ibn 'Abdillah, from his father — that the Prophet ﷺ in the [sitting between] two rak'as was as though he were sitting on hot coals — and sometimes he said: "the first two." He says: 'I asked my father: "Until he rose?" He said: "Until he rose."' His father added: Nuh ibn Yazid narrated it to us, from Ibrahim ibn Sa'd, from his father, from Abu 'Ubayda ibn 'Abdillah, from his father — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the [sitting between] two rak'as was as though he were sitting on hot coals. He says: 'I asked my father: "Until he rose?" He said: "Until he rose."'
