حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى حَدَّثَ

نَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ أَنَسٍ فِي جِنَازَةٍ فَأَمَرَ بِالْمَيِّتِ فَسُلَّ مِنْ قِبَلِ رِجْلَيْهِ

English Translation

It was narrated from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-A'la, from Khalid, from Muhammad [ibn Sireen] — that he said: 'I was with Anas at a funeral. He gave the order concerning the deceased, and the body was slid [into the grave] from the feet side.'
