English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Affan, from Shu'ba, from Ibrahim al-Hijri, from Abu al-Ahwas — from the Prophet ﷺ — that he said: 'Do you know which charity is most virtuous?' They said: 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' He said: 'The maniha [temporary lending of benefit] — that one of you grants to his brother [the use of] a dirham, or the back of a riding animal, or the milk of a goat, or the milk of a cow.'
