حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ أَنَّهُ حَجَّ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّه
ِ وَأَنَّهُ رَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ قَالَ وَجَعَلَ الْبَيْتَ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَمِنًي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَقَالَ هَذَا مَقَامُ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — via Muhammad ibn Ja'far, from Shu'ba, from al-Hakam, from Ibrahim, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid — that he performed Hajj with 'Abdullah, and that ['Abdullah] threw the jamra with seven pebbles, placing the House [Ka'ba] to his left and Mina to his right. He said: 'This is the standing place of the one upon whom Surah al-Baqara was revealed.'
