حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ رَزِينِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْمَرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الرَّجُلِ يُطَلِّ
قُ امْرَأَتَهُ ثَلَاثًا فَيَتَزَوَّجُهَا آخَرُ فَيُغْلَقُ الْبَابُ وَيُرْخَى السِّتْرُ ثُمَّ يُطَلِّقُهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِهَا هَلْ تَحِلُّ لِلْأَوَّلِ قَالَ لَا حَتَّى يَذُوقَ الْعُسَيْلَةَ و حَدَّثَنَاه أَبُو أَحْمَدُ يَعْنِي الزُّبَيْرِيَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ رَزِينٍ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki', from Sufyan, from 'Alqama ibn Marthad, from Razin ibn Sulayman al-Ahmari — that the Prophet ﷺ was asked about a man who divorced his wife three times; another man then married her, closed the door and drew the curtain, then divorced her before consummating [the marriage] — does she become permissible again for the first [husband]? He said: 'No, until [the second husband] has tasted the honey [i.e., truly consummated the marriage].' — [Ahmad] also narrated it via Abu Ahmad al-Zubairi, from Sufyan, from 'Alqama ibn Marthad, from Sulayman ibn Razin.
