حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْ مَنَايَانَا بِهَا حَتَّى تُخْرِجَنَا مِنْهَا

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki', from 'Abdullah ibn Sa'id ibn Abi Hind, from his father — that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered Mecca, he would say: 'O Allah, do not cause our deaths here until You have brought us out of it [safely].'
