English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd, from 'Ubayd Allah, from Nafi' — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would begin the talbiya when he placed his foot in the stirrup [al-gharzi] and his she-camel stood upright beneath him — from the mosque of Dhu al-Hulayfa.
