َدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَصْلُحُ بَيْعُ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يَتَبَيَّنَ صَلَاحُهُ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yazid, from Muhammad ibn 'Amr, from Salim ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar — from his father — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The selling of fruit is not valid until its soundness [ripeness] becomes apparent.'
