حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ

عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى النَّاسِ وَقَدْ فَرَغَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الْخُطْبَةِ فَقُلْتُ مَاذَا قَامَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالُوا نَهَى عَنْ الْمُزَفَّتِ وَالدُّبَّاءِ

English Translation

Isma'il narrated to us, Ayyub informed us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) who said: I arrived when the people had already finished, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had finished the sermon. I said: 'What did he say?' They said: 'He forbade keeping the meat of sacrificial animals for more than three days.'
