حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ حَلَفَ فَاسْتَثْنَى فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ إِنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَمْضِيَ عَلَى يَمِينِهِ وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَ
رْجِعَ غَيْرَ حَنِثٍ أَوْ قَالَ غَيْرَ حَرَجٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا حَلَفَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَذَكَرَهُ

English Translation
Isma'il narrated to us, Ayyub narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) who said — I do not know it except from the Prophet ﷺ — he said: 'Whoever takes an oath and makes an exception [saying in sha'Allah], then he has the choice: if he wishes, he may fulfill it, and if he wishes, he may leave it, and there is no expiation upon him.'
