حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ وَبَهْزٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ بَهْزٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ إِنَّهُ طَلَّقَ

امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَسَأَلَ عُمَرُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مُرْهُ فَلْيُرَاجِعْهَا فَإِذَا طَهُرَتْ فَلْيُطَلِّقْهَا قَالَ بَهْزٌ أَتُحْتَسَبُ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi and Bahz, from Shu'ba, from Anas ibn Sirin — that he said: 'I heard Ibn 'Umar say that he divorced his wife while she was menstruating, and 'Umar asked the Prophet ﷺ about it. He said: "Command him to take her back. When she becomes pure, let him divorce her."' — [Bahz asked: Is it counted?]
